Vadim Semenko

Founder & Creator

Vadim is a software engineer and crypto enthusiast with deep expertise in data analysis, market analytics, and real-time data systems. He built Crypto ETF to provide investors and analysts with transparent, real-time access to crypto ETF flow data—filling a critical gap in the market. With a background in full-stack development and fintech across multiple production systems, Vadim has dedicated Crypto ETF to three core principles: simplicity, accuracy, and reliability. He monitors the platform daily and continuously improves both the data pipeline and the user experience based on feedback from investors, analysts, and developers.

Our Mission

We believe that transparent, real-time data on crypto ETF flows empowers better investment decisions. Institutional flows reflect capital decisions from professional investors and reveal market sentiment that price action alone cannot show. Crypto ETF makes this data accessible to everyone—whether you're a day trader, portfolio manager, or analyst. Unlike many data providers that gate insights behind expensive subscriptions, Crypto ETF offers a free real-time dashboard alongside a developer API, because we believe market transparency benefits the entire ecosystem.

Data & Methodology

All fund flow and holdings data comes from official sources and trusted third-party providers. We track spot ETFs from major issuers including BlackRock (IBIT), Fidelity (FBTC), Grayscale (GBTC, ETHE), Bitwise, VanEck, ARK 21Shares, Canary and others — covering all 16 assets, from Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Hyperliquid to Dogecoin, Chainlink, Avalanche, Hedera, Litecoin, BNB, Polkadot, Sui, NEAR, Tron and Zcash. Flow data is aggregated daily after official filings are published; for the newest assets, where no aggregator exists, each fund's daily flow is computed from the issuer's own shares outstanding and NAV. Holdings and AUM figures are reconciled against publicly available regulatory disclosures.

The Platform

Crypto ETF launched in 2024 as a response to the lack of a single, reliable source for crypto ETF flow data. Before the spot Bitcoin ETF approvals in January 2024, institutional-grade flow data was scattered across multiple brokerage filings, Excel exports, and paywalled terminals. Crypto ETF aggregates this data into a single, clean interface updated multiple times per day.

Today the platform tracks more than $120 billion in assets across 50+ funds spanning 16 assets, from Bitcoin and Ethereum to Dogecoin, Chainlink and Sui. It serves individual investors following daily flows, portfolio managers tracking institutional sentiment, developers pulling the data through the REST API and MCP server, and researchers studying how ETF flows relate to crypto prices.

The platform also offers a proprietary sentiment indicator—CEFI (Crypto ETF Flow Index)—that aggregates net flows across all tracked assets into a 0–100 score. CEFI provides a flow-only view of institutional sentiment, complementing price-based indicators like the Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index.
